Job Description
The Role: We are seeking a driven Manufacturing Engineer to shape the future of our Lockport operations. In this role, you will optimize production processes and ensure the efficient, day-to-day success of our Stamping, Assembly, and Robotic Welding facilities.
What You'll Do
Develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures, and documentation to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Analyze and interpret blueprints and machine schematics to troubleshoot and resolve production issues. Provide technical support and expertise for the setup, operation, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. Identify and implement solutions for repairing mechanical equipment, minimizing downtime and maximizing output. Analyze and implement product or machinery designs for the best method for manufacturing processes. Propose and evaluate the processes for equipment in assigned area. Direct the design, development, and/or improvement of manufacturing processes for assigned area. Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability of new products and components. Provide direction to engineering support groups and vendors. Evaluate or monitor expenditures on processes and/or equipment. Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications): Bachelor's degree (or 4+ years of equivalent experience) in Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Hands-on experience and a strong understanding of various machining and assembly processes. Proven ability to rapidly troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical equipment. What Can Give you a Competitive Advantage (Preferred Qualifications): Strong proficiency in reading, interpreting, and applying blueprints and machine schematics. Ability to evaluate a diverse range of complex issues and propose creative, alternative solutions. Direct, hands-on experience with robotic welding systems. High proficiency in SolidWorks design software.
Compensation
The expected base compensation for this role is: $107,600.00 - $156,700.00 . Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position. Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
