Your new role The role requires effective management of a development pipeline, including effort estimation, and delivery planning. The individual will also be responsible for performing thorough testing and quality assurance activities to ensure the reliability, scalability, and effectiveness of implemented solutions. As a Project Manager - Alternative Investments Data Solutions, Officer you will: Design, develop, and implement scalable automation solutions and applications based on business and technical requirements. Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and technology-driven improvements across multiple business functions. Create new tools that aim to save time, risk and improve quality Perform Project Analysis of requirements received for each development effort. Manage the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support. Engage the existing development resources to ensure best practices are being applied and/or promote new best practices. Manage/maintain oversight of the promotion and demonstration of strategic initiatives. Collaborate with global stakeholders, business analysts, and development teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with strategic objectives. Continually review and redefine development processes e.g. learn new methods. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, and support materials in line with organizational standards. Provide regular status reporting to the project/program leads and management. Monitor project progress, communicate development status, and proactively manage technical risks, issues, and dependencies. Ensure timely delivery of technology solutions while maintaining high standards of quality and maintainability. Conduct ad hoc reports, administration, projects and tasks as required.

Qualifications and previous experience: A University Degree in banking/finance, technology/IT or related field. Further qualifications in IT related field would be an asset. 3-plus year experience with proven process automation using Python. 5-plus years of work experience. Being familiar with object oriented programming. Any other programming language knowledge would be a plus. Familiarity of Agile development methods would be an advantage.
