As a Supplier Quality Engineer for John Deere Seeding Moline located in Moline, IL, you will be:
Provide supplier quality engineering support to our assembly and fabrication departments. Lead containment activities and problem investigations for supplier quality issues Participate in meetings that review quality performance and launch corrective actions to improve internal (factory) and external (customer) quality Partner with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Management, Product Engineering, and inspectors to improve product quality, reduce defects, and strengthen quality culture across the factory.

Experience in manufacturing, quality engineering, process engineering, or a related technical field. Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills, including corrective action development and implementation. Ability to work with cross-functional teams, influence without direct authority, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Effective communication, organization, with proficiency in Microsoft Office. What Makes You Standout
Experience with quality management systems, such as ISO 9001. Experience in supply management. Experience with data analysis skills, AI, PowerBI, or programming. Quality planning, quality control, or quality improvement experience. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Leader Standard Work, Daily Management. Familiarity with John Deere manufacturing systems. Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering program or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience. Competencies
