Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions that power Microsoft's products and services. Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver innovative features and customer-focused experiences. Write clean, scalable, maintainable, and well-documented code while following engineering best practices. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and support. Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues to ensure system reliability, performance, and security. Leverage data and customer insights to continuously improve product quality and user experience. Contribute to code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge-sharing activities within the team. Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute ideas that drive innovation across products and platforms.

Required Qualifications Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. OR equivalent experience.

Experience in one or more programming languages such as C++, C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, Go, or Rust. Understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and software engineering principles. Familiarity with software development tools, debugging techniques, and version control systems. Passion for technology and a desire to learn and grow as a software engineer. Internship, research, project, or open-source experience in software development. Experience building applications, services, platforms, or AI-powered solutions. Familiarity with machine learning, artificial intelligence, data engineering, or large-scale service operations. Experience developing web, mobile, desktop, or backend applications. Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills. Passion for innovation and creating technologies that positively impact users around the world.
