Company: Guy Carpenter Description: We are seeking a talented individual to join our Operations team at Guy Carpenter. This role will be based in Mumbai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. Specialist – Transactional Services We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with deep subject matter expertise in the Open Twins mainframe system and in-house built workflow management application. Additionally, the candidate should have experience in providing application support, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and coordinating with technical teams to ensure the smooth operation and continuous improvement of these systems.The ideal candidate will serve as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating business needs into actionable solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of both systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to identify opportunities for process automation using Robotic Process Automation (RPA). We will count on you to: Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Open Twins and in-house built workflow applications, providing guidance and support to business and technical teams. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring clear understanding of their ideas and objectives. Evaluate business processes and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy through automation, particularly leveraging RPA technologies. Work with RPA developers and IT teams to design, test, and implement automated workflows that integrate Open Twins and GC Flow functionalities. Provide application support, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and coordination with technical teams to ensure system stability and performance. Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to communicate requirements, project status, and solution benefits to stakeholders at all levels. Develop and maintain detailed documentation including business requirements, process flows, user stories, and test cases. Support change management activities by assisting in training, user adoption, and post-implementation support. Monitor and analyze system performance and user feedback to recommend continuous improvements. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to workflow management and automation. What you need to have:  Overall 2+ years of work experience as a Business Analyst or similar role supporting mainframe systems and workflow applications. Experience in providing application support, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and working closely with technical teams to maintain system reliability and performance. In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Open Twins and workflow applications is essential. Strong understanding of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) concepts and tools. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation. Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities. Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field preferred. Should be comfortable with shifts – 12-9 PM/ 1-10PM or 2:30-11:30 PM Preferred Skills: Experience in the insurance or reinsurance industry. Knowledge of integration between workflow systems and mainframe applications. Familiarity with document management systems and dashboard reporting tools. What makes you stand out?
