Moreover, as a technical lead you are able to plan and track work packages, delegate tasks and manage relationships to key stakeholders Your role Key responsibilities in your new role Lead end-to-end ASIC implementation programs from RTL handoff to signoff and tapeout (including PD, PnR, CTS, optimization, signoff, and GDS delivery ). Demonstrate working knowledge across older and mature nodes (e.g., 180/130/90/65/40/28nm) and advanced nodes (e.g., 16/14/12/10/7/5/3nm—node experience may vary by company needs). Stay current with AI trends relevant to EDA and silicon design (ML-assisted PnR, predictive analytics for QoR, automated debugging/triage, LLM-assisted flow automation). Identify opportunities to apply AI/automation to improve throughput and quality (.g., regression analysis for QoR, auto-checkers, triaging violations, flow tuning). Very good hands-on experience on languages like Tcl, and Python Take over technical leadership for flow and methodology topics in multi-site projects Translate product requirements into layout specifics using our state-of-the-art EDA tools and flows Work in all phases of the RTL2GDS flow Steer cross-functional teams to meet Performance and schedule goals Analyze and solve problems of high complexity using your global expert network People management skills. Should have handled mid-size teams in the past Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed A degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics or a similar field Very good Communication and leadership skills – At least 15 years of experience in CAD or Physical Design of highly complex SoCs A deep technical understanding in all aspects of RTL2GDS Manage, mentor , and grow a team of physical design/implementation engineers (hiring, onboarding, coaching, career development, performance management). Proactively manage cross-functional conflicts and prioritize issues across competing stakeholders Proven technical leadership skills. Communicate clearly with leadership on status, risks, mitigation plans, and resource needs. Hand-on experience and people management skills as well. Sound programming skills and knowledge in scripting languages e.g Tcl, Perl or Python #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
