EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
REQUIREMENTS · Graduate of an ABA or foreign equivalent law school, member of a bar in good standing, eligible to practice law in jurisdiction. · Minimum of 15 years legal experience or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience. ASSISTANT RE GIONAL COMPLIANCE COUNSEL – AMERICAS JOB SUMMARY The Assistant Regional Compliance Counsel, Americas, will support the Regional Compliance Counsel, Americas, in overseeing Jabil’s Ethics and Compliance program throughout the United States, Latin America, and Canada. This hybrid position will be based at Jabil’s Guadalajara location, the company’s largest site in the region, and will require approximately 50% on-site presence. The Assistant Regional Compliance Counsel will report to the Regional Compliance Counsel, Americas. The position will serve as a trusted advisor to Guadalajara site and regional leadership and corporate functions, assess and investigate compliance-related matters, provide guidance on remediation and risk mitigation, and deliver ethics and compliance training to employees and leaders. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain an on-site presence at Jabil’s Guadalajara location approximately 50% of the time and serve as a trusted advisor to site and regional leadership. Assess and triage compliance-related allegations and concerns arising throughout the Americas region. Lead end-to-end internal investigations involving matters such as fraud, financial conflicts of interest, corruption, theft, and other potential violations of law or company policy.. Provide oversight, direction, and legal guidance for investigations conducted by members of the regional Ethics and Compliance team. Present investigation findings and recommendations to senior management and other relevant stakeholders. Help ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, in coordination with a broad group of stakeholders including Operations, Human Resources, Finance, Global Security and senior business leadership.
