Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.   The Advanced Spectrum Dominance (ASD) SSBU (sub-strategic business unit) is seeking an FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Specialist. This position will support the bookings and backlog, income statement, and balance sheet teams with financial analysis and reporting. The position will support financial reporting, planning, forecasting, and analysis activities across the ASD Finance team.   In this role, you will perform financial reporting and analysis, coordinate with financial analysts on reporting requirements and deadlines, and monitor variance analysis and reporting. This individual will collaborate with finance managers, financial analysts, and functional and program management to monitor and update Short Range Outlook (SRO) Risks and Opportunities, monthly forecast updates, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and Long-Range Planning (LRP) development.   The FP&A Analyst will also support Balance Sheet activities, gap closure, investment reporting (IRAD, Capital, NBI, inventory management, and pre-contract funding), and ad hoc financial requests.

Support financial reporting and analysis activities. Coordinate with financial analysts on reporting requirements and deadlines. Monitor variance analysis and reporting. Collaborate with finance managers, financial analysts, and functional and program management. Monitor and update Short Range Outlook (SRO) Risks and Opportunities. Support monthly forecast updates. Support Annual Operating Plan (AOP) development. Support Long-Range Planning (LRP) development. Support Balance Sheet activities and gap closure. Prepare and maintain investment reporting, including IRAD, Capital, NBI, inventory management, and pre-contract funding. Respond to ad hoc financial requests. Develop working relationships with Finance Leadership and Program/Functional Leadership. Support finance peers with day-to-day responsibilities. Support financial activities across portfolios involving different contract types, program life cycles, and execution strategies.

You Must Have: Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Experience with SAP Tool Suite, such as APEX, Analysis for Office, and PRISM. Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint, to support financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and presentation of financial information. Experience with financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, financial reporting, and related processes and systems. U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only
