What’s Under the Hood DriveTime Family of Brands includes in-house financing and servicing through Bridgecrest, which is one of the country’s leading financial servicing providers. Bridgecrest services roughly $25+ billion in finance receivables for DriveTime and other third parties. Responsibilities of the Job (Or Better Known as, Your Next Destination) This position is responsible for managing the end-to-end debt sale process for deficiency, bankruptcy, and other applicable account sales, from sale setup through post-closing. This includes coordinating with the Consultant, Buyers, and internal Bridgecrest stakeholders (Treasury, Accounting, Analytics, IT, Legal, Compliance, and Product) to ensure compliance, data accuracy, and timely execution. This role serves as the primary point of contact for the transaction process and coordination across the cross functional team supporting the project management marketing and due diligence through bid, close, and post-sale reconciliation. Participate, coordinate, and oversee the end-to-end debt sale lifecycle (Sale Setup, Marketing & Announcement, Due Diligence, Bid & Closing, and Post-Closing), leading kickoff calls and aligning internal stakeholders across Operations, Treasury, Accounting, Analytics, IT, Legal, and Compliance. Coordinates with the Consultant on sale calendar, data requests, seller questionnaires, and marketing materials. Partners with Analytics to provide account data and transaction history files, as well as finalize cutoff data and sale population, and IT for vendor FTP and distribution of sale notices and account media. Leads bidder due diligence, ensuring required documentation (NDA, SOC report, diligence questionnaire) is complete, and oversees the execution of the Loan Sale Agreement and makes recommendations for selection based on this data. Monitors ongoing buyer requests and post-close activities (repurchase, media, affidavits, remittance), ensuring approvals are documented per recordkeeping and audit requirements, and communicates upcoming sales to internal teams and vendors. Identifies and recommends process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and compliance across the debt sale process. Provides proactive leadership to the team to achieve maximum performance, continued individual development and succession planning across the department. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (The Good Stuff) Debt sale process expertise. Solid understanding of debt sale transactions, including data and media requirements, loan sale agreements, and post-sale handling. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to talk and write with confidence, charisma, and competence for a wide variety of audiences, including management, buyers, and outside consultants. Strong attention to detail. Capable of managing sensitive account data, contractual terms, and regulatory requirements with a high degree of accuracy. Fantastic problem solver.
