Standard Job Description 
 Performs in a collaborative environment to develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, fabrication, and material handling. Drives adoption of new technologies and processes (automation, robotics, computer aided manufacturing software, etc.) to achieve greater efficiency, cost reduction and quality improvement. Creates and analyzes 3D based model data environment to optimize manufacturing process and digital work instructions. Leverages understanding of materials and automatic processes to define operations procedures and build sequences to drive operational excellence. Evaluates performance (including IoT devices, etc.) of equipment and tools to verify their efficiency and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure operational excellence. Leverages factory data to develop statistical process control approaches and integrates reporting and data analytics solutions for continuous improvement. Provides input to product design regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.   Selected candidate will be required to: - Perform floor support and repair support to solve immediate production constraints - Develop corrective actions to improve the production system, reducing Scrap Rework and Repair (SRR) cost and hours per unit (HPU) - Perform manufacturing evaluations of engineering changes - Implement cost reduction initiatives - Take complex technical issues and drive to resolution - Other Manufacturing Engineering standard work (Tool Trial Runs, Work Around Plans, etc.) - Developing/ Maintaining/ Improving our Standard Operating Procedures - Coordinate with cross functional teams - Maintain and ensure compliance to AS9100, Command Media, and any other applicable regulations - Must be a US Citizen This position will support the F-35 program, C-130 program, F-16 program, or the Machine Shop Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice. Basic Qualifications 
 Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering) from an acreddited College Strong ability in written and verbal technical communication skills. The candidate must be able to communicate effectively across multiple levels of the business and remote collaboration Demonstrated interpersonal and collaboration skills required in a team environment Experience in engineering or manufacturing Desired Skills 
 5 years experience (3 years with a M.S.) in engineering or manufacturing Experience with manufacturing processes and assembly sequences (assembly, milling, turning, additive, paint, etc.). Manufacturing Engineering experience with fabrication and assembly in a production environment Experience in a Union environment Ability to apply structured root cause analysis techniques and corrective action plans Skilled in interpretation of engineering specifications and reviewing drawing requirements for manufacturability Experience implementing technical solutions, new technologies, or processes (tooling, automation, robotics, computer aided manufacturing software, etc.) to achieve greater efficiency, cost reduction and quality improvement Applied CATIA V5 experience or similar 3D CAD software Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $76700.00 - $142500.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
