Inventory Control Clerk

Franciscan Health Crown Point 12750 S Francis Dr Crown Point, Indiana 46307 The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for receiving and storing all food and supplies for the Franciscan Health Food and Nutrition Services areas. The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for issuing food and supplies to designated areas. The position assists in managing inventory levels of food and supplies.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Hours: Tuesday and Fridays 3am-11:30am Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 5am-1:30pm. Weekends and holidays/occasionally Receive all food and supply items for dietary department according to department standards. Store all foods correctly, including rotating stock, organizing stock areas and checking for out dated stock. Maintain cleanliness and safety of all food storage and receiving areas. Dispense food and supplies to cooks, cafeteria, and patient care units, according to standards. Review invoices for correct pricing, reconcile invoices, and process for Accounts Payable. Take physical inventory and places orders for food or supplies, as directed by Supervisor Production.
