ABOUT YOUR ROLE: This position oversees business planning activities for the VANS APAC region including B&M, E-Com and Wholesale, ensuring strong collaboration and alignment between pre-season plans and in-season actions.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
WILL INCLUDE: Business Planning Management: Business acumen on strategizing business planning development direction on DTC/WS channel growth through LRP/Yearly plan cycle Running rolling forecast with the assumption of sales split, markdown, and sell-through assumption to create seasonal open to buy plan in multi time frame; major focus on DTC channel (B&M/Ecom) Analyzing Store plan and provide feedback to marketplace team during the monthly/seasonal/yearly planning process. Identifying weekly MTG/YTG forecast/risk & opportunity with marketplace team Reviewing the sales trends and forecast the ending inventory, suggest any risk and opportunities, and drive the action to solve the risk. Understanding the key connectivity and interactions required for all business process steps. Develop inventory rolling forecast by channel by product type and raise risk and opportunities from inventory perspective. Reporting and Analysis Capabilities build up: aligning on key reports, cadence, audience, and R&R Establish BIG DATA analytical capability, provide ad hoc reporting and analysis Build Team: Develop the team’s capabilities, analytical skills and business knowledge through coaching and on the job monitoring/training. Ensure the team is communicating with other business functions in an efficient and effective way Ensure that Planning, Buying and Analysts/Allocators are working as one team and collaborating as needed. Ensure the team is actively participating in regional or global system/tool/BI implementations.
