Digital Software Engineer Senior Manager Job Summary The Digital S/W Engineer Sr Mgr accomplishes results through the management of professional team(s) and department(s). This role integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area, contributing to standards around which others will operate. It requires an in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the entire function. Basic commercial awareness is needed. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide, influence, and convince others, particularly colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. The position has responsibility for volume, quality, timeliness, and delivery of end results of an area, and may include planning, budgeting, and policy formulation. It involves short-term planning and resource planning, with full management responsibility for a team, including performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions, terminations, and budget approval. This senior leadership role demands a hands-on full-stack developer and people manager with expertise in microservices and web development. The ideal candidate will drive technical excellence using AI tools, foster a test-first culture with robust BDD automation, lead continuous process improvements across the SDLC, and apply strong architectural, security, and resiliency design patterns. They must possess excellent problem-solving, performance optimization, defensive coding, and troubleshooting skills, while demonstrating leadership to influence stakeholders, manage teams effectively, and build a positive, efficient culture focused on delivering client outcomes.

Possess the ability to continuously build a network of talent inside and outside of the company. Create mechanisms to help onboard new talent to the organization and be able to mentor others.
