(Job Summary) McKesson is seeking a Facilities Support Technician to support the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and reliability of our distribution center facilities and automation equipment. This role performs routine inspections, minor repairs, preventive maintenance activities, and general facility support to help maintain a safe, efficient, and productive work environment. The successful candidate will work closely with operations and facility teams to address maintenance needs, support equipment uptime, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

(Responsibilities) Perform routine facility and equipment inspections to identify maintenance issues and support preventive maintenance activities. Respond to facility service requests and complete general maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, lighting replacements, spill response, and workspace adjustments. Support the operation and functionality of automation systems and associated equipment by identifying and escalating maintenance concerns. Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, inspection reports, and inventory documentation. Assist with facility projects, inventory management, and emergency response activities while adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.

Typically requires 1+ years of related experience Experience performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, or basic repair work. Ability to safely use common hand tools and power tools. Basic computer skills, including experience using email, work order systems, or maintenance tracking software.

Technical certification, vocational training, or coursework in maintenance, facilities, mechanical systems, or a related discipline. Experience supporting distribution center, warehouse, manufacturing, or automated facility environments. Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and equipment troubleshooting. Experience managing maintenance inventory, supplies, or spare parts. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and customer service skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with safety regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and workplace safety practices.

Primarily onsite role supporting distribution center and facility operations. Requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing ladders, and lifting materials up to 50 lbs. Must be able to safely work around warehouse equipment, automation systems, and operational machinery. Availability to support emergency facility issues or urgent maintenance needs when required.
