What Makes This Role Great: In this role, you will serve as a vital link in bringing sophisticated hardware to life, taking ownership of complex assembly, system testing, and diagnostic troubleshooting while directly influencing product performance and custom testing setups. Key Exciting Responsibilities Perform precision assembly, wiring, cable harnessing, hand soldering, and calibration on complex electronic and electro-mechanical instruments. Conduct comprehensive sub-assembly, unit, and system-level testing to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues. Collaborate in the design and assembly of customized test equipment to evaluate unit functionality and technical performance. Document technical data, summarize diagnostic findings, and recommend product or test station enhancements to optimize equipment output. Ensure full compliance with workplace environmental, health, and safety standards while maintaining workstation integrity. Essential Skills & Experience Practical experience in electronic assembly, installation, hardware, and firmware processes. Demonstrated hands-on experience using diverse electronic test equipment and diagnostic tools. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools for technical reporting and data documentation. Excellent organizational capabilities paired with strong oral and written communication skills. Bonus Points For Electronic or Computer Engineering Technician/Technologist diploma or equivalent practical background.
