Job Description
The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. These opportunities in our Global Support Division can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals. The Global Safety & Environment Intern will provide environmental, health, and safety (EHS) compliance and technical support to local site business partners related to compliance programs (i.e. General Occupational Safety, High-Risk Work, Industrial Hygiene, Air/Water/Waste Environmental programs). Activities the candidate could be assigned to perform: To reorganize the site EHS SharePoint. To create general EHS Moments (at least 12-24) to be used during the year. Also, could be shared with our Region. To work along with one of the site EHS Team members and organize the Industrial Hygiene documentation, simplify the Emergency Response Red Books. To work along with one of the site EHS Team members and revamp the Keep-it-Green (environmental waste guidelines). Required Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelors/ Master’s Degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biology or another technical program. Completed at least 2 years of College course work Able to work full time for a period of (4 or 6 months duration) Critical thinking, communication, problem-solving and computer skills Ability to receive verbal or written direction and implement corresponding changes Ability to think critically about process inefficiencies and propose solutions Preferred Skills: Prior internship or work experience in the Environmental, Health, and Safety field or in chemical manufacturing. Ability to convey ideas and explain decisions in a clear and concise manner. Salary range
The salary range for this role is $39,908 - $111,111 FTP2027 GSF2027 Required Skills:
