Psychiatrist

MedStar Medical Group, the integrated provider organization for MedStar Health, is seeking a full-time Inpatient Psychiatrist to join the Psychiatry Services Department at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC .   MedStar Health is one of the nation’s most respected and comprehensive health systems, with more than 300 sites of care across Maryland and the Washington, D.C., region, including 10 hospitals, multispecialty centers, and home care services.

This position is primarily inpatient-focused, providing comprehensive psychiatric care to adult patients within the hospital setting. The psychiatrist will work closely with medical and surgical teams as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to patient care. You will join a well-established inpatient psychiatry and Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry program at MedStar Washington Hospital Center, a major academic medical center and teaching hospital in Washington, DC.
