About this role
Telular is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Production Associate to support the assembly, disassembly, inspection, and testing of electronic products and components. This position plays a critical role in ensuring product quality and operational efficiency while working in a collaborative manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities:
Assemble, disassemble, inspect, and test products and components according to established procedures and quality standards. Follow written work instructions, test procedures, and verbal direction accurately and consistently. Perform visual inspections to ensure products meet quality specifications. Identify and promptly report defective materials, components, or products to the Supervisor or Team Lead. Utilize hand tools and testing equipment safely and effectively. Maintain accurate work records and adhere to production schedules. Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain an organized work area. Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily production goals. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Production Supervisor.
Qualifications: Required
High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to learn and adapt quickly to multiple assembly, disassembly, and testing processes. Ability to read and follow work instructions and procedures. Basic math and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred
1-2 years of experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, or assembly environment. Experience using hand tools and working with electronic or mechanical products.
Work Environment
Work is performed in a warehouse and manufacturing setting. Production associates may be exposed to varying noise levels and moving equipment typical of a manufacturing environment. Production associates are required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, and kneel throughout the workday. Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle small parts and tools. Ability to distinguish colors, markings, and product components. Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as required by the position. Ability to perform repetitive motions associated with assembly and testing activities
