The hourly range listed is an estimate. What Inventory Management contributes to Cardinal Health Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning. Inventory Management is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning and customer forecasting systems, supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes, and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements. About the Consumer Health Logistics Center The Consumer Health Logistics Center (CHLC) is Cardinal Health’s newest Pharmaceutical Supply Chain operation in Groveport, Ohio. This facility, featuring some of the latest innovations in automation technology, is approximately 350,000 square feet and picks, packs, and ships consumer health products. Shift/Location 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm This is an on-site position (5 days per week), based out of the Consumer Health Logistics Center Responsibilities Research and resolve count variances to ensure accurate inventory records and identify potential areas of improvement in the process. Moves inventory locations as needed to maintain efficient and compliant operations. Reviews, processes and intervenes on all recall notices for products. Handles expired product return from vendors Performs daily cycle count reconciliations Assist vendor in the returns process of damages, overages, and partials. Checks expiration dates on products to ensure physical product location and system Audits and verifies inbound receipt documentation for accuracy and compliance Processes inventory moves and adjustments Works with the operational department to ensure efficiency and accuracy for all daily and weekly tasks Participates in and runs Vendor inventory audits Other duties as assigned Processes inventory moves and adjustments per client request What is expected of you and others at this level Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete standard tasks Works on routine assignments that require basic problem resolution Refers to policies and past practices for guidance Receives general direction on standard work; receives detailed instruction on new assignments Consults with supervisor or senior peers on complex and unusual problems Qualifications : All training is provided starting your first day! 1-2 years of operations experience preferred High school degree or GED Previous Inventory experience preferred Comfortable with extensive computer use Ability to operate quickly and accurately in a distribution environment Excellent problem-solving and verbal communication skills Comfortable operating computers Ability to be detail oriented
