SUMMARY
Test Engineer III in NPI leads the introduction of new products and technologies into the manufacturing facility and enables pilot and ramp capability in test , debug and technology expertise. This is an onsite position in Dublin, Blanchardstown.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors of Science in Electronics or Electrical Engineering (NFQ Level 8) from a college or university; and f ive to ten years experience in relevant field , preferably e xperience in electrical manufacturing environment . ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. TECHNICAL MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES · Lead TE deliverables to deliver to NPI schedule and roadmap. Including new technologies, new test processes, new equipment and new process development. · Provide training and coaching test engineers and test eng technicians on new products and the associated new features. · Manage technical relationship with customer and lead enabling activies for site. · Perform detailed analysis on test quality of product assigned, identify trends and drive corrective & preventative actions. · Manage the engineering test function for standard and/or custom devices as determined by the technologies introduced on NPIs. · I dentify and evaluate test procedures and test equipment required to deliver test coverage . · Analyse the data to drive systemic improvements in prod u ct/platform/ operation performance through the lifecycle of the product. · Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor. · Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy. LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES Communication: · Manage the narrative for test development and delivery for the site with the customer, including escalations and roadblocks to deliver cusomter expectations. · Provide communication forum for the exchange of ideas and information with the department. · Organize ideas clearly and use an appropriate business style t o present at individual level and at organisation level. · Ask questions; encourage input from team members. Maintain a safe environment wher everyone is encourage to engage. · Assess communication style of individual team members and adapt own communication style accordingly. Employee and Team Development: · Identify individual and team strengths and development needs on an ongoing basis. · Create and/or validate training curriculum in area of responsibility. · Coach and mentor Test Engineers I & II to deliver excellence to every internal and external customer.
