This in-office expectation does not apply to contractor positions About the role Applied Intuition is seeking an experienced Electrical System Integration Engineer to design automotive-grade wire harnesses and coordinate with engineering teams and suppliers. You will lead the design of wire harness and electrical distribution systems, ensuring program milestones and quality standards are met. At Applied Intuition, you will Design and debug routing and retention of harnesses, cables, and connectors to ensure ease of assembly, serviceability, and robust functionality Perform hardware verification of built boards to ensure correct functionality Debug hardware issues by probing test points and establishing root cause Manage CAD (3D models, assemblies, 2D drawings) using SolidWorks and Altium for: low-voltage, high-voltage, and high-speed vehicle interconnects Interface cross-functionally to drive program delivery Working with OEMs, vendors and partners (current and potential) to identify the best wire harness solution for Applied Intuition’s vehicle platform We're looking for someone who has: BS or MS degree in Systems, Electrical, Hardware, Computer Science or equivalent program 4+ years of experience in automotive wire harness design and Electrical integration Experience designing harnesses for LV & HV applications; familiar with automotive standards such as ISO 6722, SAE J1128 Ability to source, manage, and maintain relationships with vendors & suppliers for harness manufacturing & materials Nice to have Knowledge with Capital and Catia Design CAD (3D models, assemblies, 2D drawings) Hands-on experience with harness crimping and end-to-end assembly of electrical test benches used for system integration and validation Experience with model development and simulation tools Strong knowledge of automotive product development systems and design disciplines Excellent written & oral communication skills – ability to present to wider audiences Don’t meet every single requirement?
