ECD plays a critical role as it adds value to Bain's case teams globally by supporting them with analytics and research solutioning across all industries, specific domains for corporate cases, client development, private equity diligence or Bain intellectual property. The BCN comprises of Consulting Services, Knowledge Services and Shared Services. Who you will work with Strategy and Transformation (S&T) CoE regularly collaborates with Sr. stakeholders (Sr. Partners, EVPs) from Bain’s Strategy & Transformation Practice and works with Bain case teams across the globe on strategy / transformation case requirements. The work spans across industries with variety of analysis including but not limited to industry/sector analysis and scans, analyzing disruptive themes and evolving start-up ecosystem, Investment analysis, M&A and Corporate venture capital Scans, Digital heuristics identifying key trends/drivers/challenges, survey analysis, etc. Additionally, the team also supports Global S&T Practice in managing CEO Forums and Podcasts that entails developing IPs / POVs / Tools and managing communication with senior Bain Stakeholders, including Partners, Practice leadership as well as Marketing team and third-party vendors. What you’ll do This is a Project Leader role within the Strategy & Transformation (S&T) CoE at BCN , partnering with senior leaders across Bain’s global S&T practice, including Partners and EVPs, and with case teams across industries and geographies The role is designed for a proactive, ownership-oriented individual who can operate as an individual subject-matter and delivery expert - independently taking complex, high-priority work from an initial question through to a high-quality outcome; the Project Leader will work with a Manager/Senior Manager for strategic thought partnership and selectively leverage junior team members where needed A core part of the role is working with Bain’s S&T leaders to develop differentiated perspectives and intellectual property (IP) on the issues shaping the S&T agenda - these may include industry and sector shifts, disruptive business trends, emerging business models, innovation and startup ecosystems, VC/PE investment landscapes, and account full-potential opportunities; the role will turn these insights into compelling Bain perspectives, commercial assets and, where relevant, support client work The Project Leader will also bring an AI-enabled delivery mindset , proactively using GenAI, automation and emerging tools to create repeatable workflows and solutions that improve the quality, speed and scalability of the work SCOPE OF WORK Lead complex workstreams end-to-end – structure ambiguous questions, develop hypotheses, define the approach, synthesize evidence and drive the work through to clear, actionable outcomes Build differentiated perspectives and IP – partner with senior S&T leaders to identify important questions, develop new points of view, and translate research and analysis into compelling executive content and commercial assets Apply insights to client and commercial priorities – bring relevant industry, market and S&T perspectives to priority case work, proposals,
