Location: 11501 Outlook Street, Overland Park Kansas JOB BRIEF (PURPOSE) Under the direction of the senior vice president of servicing, the person in this position is responsible for supervising the work performed by the Account Managers. He/she will monitor the work output to insure that all regulatory, investor guidelines, and internal policies and procedures are met. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Assist New Business Team in securing new clients. Act as liaison and manage warehouse client relationships through negotiation of warehouse contracts, servicing agreements, and subservicing transactions. Supervise the daily functions performed by Account Managers. Plan and organize the workflow to achieve maximum productivity while maintaining fiduciary responsibility of contractual obligations. Facilitate with vice president the securitization and conversion process with internal and external clients, legal staff, auditors and investors. Actively participate in New Loan Closing Meetings with the Originations/Underwriting Teams. Assist vice president of servicing in establishing departmental goals to meet company objectives. Continuously evaluate department progress in the attainment of the goals. Prepare monthly progress and status reports. Collaborate with the vice president of servicing in determining staffing needs. Interview applicants, make hiring recommendations, complete performance appraisals, and recommend salary increases. Review and Approve complex cash management agreements, escrow holdbacks, capital reserve disbursements, and construction draws. Authorize disbursements from the cash management and investor reporting accounts. Train staff members to ensure all procedures are implemented and followed appropriately. Work with IT to establish technological effeciencies regarding workflow. Act as a delegate of authority for the VP of Servicing Assist and coordinate all servicing transfers in and out of KeyBank, insuring all information necessary to continue servicing is received or sent in a timely and accurate manner. Evaluate and assign risk ratings to KeyBank assets through the AQR process. Contribute to and participate in all planning sessions and workout strategies with ARG. Recommend revisions to policies and procedures, and at manager’s discretion, implement subsequent changes to incorporate them into the department workflow. MARGINAL OR PERIPHERAL FUNCTIONS Assist the senior vice president of servicing with special projects, as assigned REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Four-year college degree Five years commercial real estate servicing experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as a high degree of analytical skills Experienced in drafting departmental policy and procedure manuals Overall knowledge of commercial underwriting Overall knowledge of property financial statement analysis Knowledge of legal document review and interpretation PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experienced in preparing departmental annual budgets Background in real estate law, accounting/auditing, or commercial loan underwriting Experience with McCracken/Strategy and RECWeb loan loan servicing systems Efficient in the use of word processing, spreadsheet, and email software, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook EQUIPMENT USED Personal Computer Standard office equipment (phone, fax, copier, calculator) TRAINING REQUIRED On the job training as required.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $71,000.00 - $125,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
