Sr. Associate, Legal Process Manager As a Senior Associate, Legal Process Manager at Capital One, you will drive execution of processes and high priority projects for the Tech Reg Legal team. You will discover a positive and flexible environment that values your insight, encourages you to take on new responsibility, promotes continuous learning, and rewards innovation and intellectual curiosity.   A successful candidate will display: Strong communication skills A desire to work collaboratively  The ability to work independently and proactively The willingness to tackle new challenges and use creativity to find solutions   General Responsibilities: Provides oversight of process improvement work and collaborating with cross functional teams on larger initiatives Collect, analyze, and measure data to proactively identify trends and gaps to provide actionable insights and recommendations Understand customers’ needs of the process and driving end to end customer process improvements Identify and implement process improvements driving issue resolution/risk mitigation activities Evaluate where agentic workflows can replace or augment manual steps in a business process Utilize generative AI to accelerate process documentation, synthesize large data sets for root cause analysis, identify hidden inefficiencies, and create standardized analysis assets (e.g., Gems) Develop a working knowledge of in-scope processes to partner with others in the pursuit of process improvement Provide clear and timely communications, updates, and escalations to stakeholders Proactively manage through identification and resolution of risks across the value stream to maintain Well-Managed processes Advocate and share job specific strengths for the betterment of the broader team or body of work  Design, develop, manage, and document processes and project plans in a dynamic environment, revising needs to meet changing requirements.  Build relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments for the Tech Reg Legal team. Provide customer service and training to internal customers on specific processes they manage; may deliver presentations, including up to the executive level.

Bachelor’s Degree or military experience At least 1 year of experience in Microsoft Office or G Suite  At least 2 years of experience in Business Process Management, Project Management, Relationship Management, Risk Management, or a combination  Preferred Qualifications:   Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, Business Process Management, or Project Management certification  Experience applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) prompting for process management efficiency 1+ year of experience in using Microsoft Excel or sheets (script prompting) At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.   The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. McLean, VA: $88,800 - $101,300 for Sr. Process Manager   Richmond, VA: $80,800 - $92,200 for Sr. Process Manager                   Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
