Production Manager Location: Denison, Texas Travel: Up to 5% Relocation Assistance: Available Visa Sponsorship: Not Available Job Family: Manufacturing and Production Operations Work Environment: On-site manufacturing environment Job Summary As a Production Manager in Denison, Texas, you will lead the daily activities of a complex manufacturing production line while building a culture centered on safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement. You will coordinate people, schedules, production priorities, and operational resources to help the team deliver safe, high-quality products efficiently. This role is an opportunity to combine hands-on manufacturing leadership with structured problem solving, performance coaching, and data-informed decision making. You will work closely with production employees and cross-functional partners to address operating issues, strengthen production processes, and improve safety, productivity, quality, and communication across the operation.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate the daily activities of employees supporting a complex manufacturing production line. Assign work, align production priorities, and coordinate activities between teams to maintain safe and effective operations. Prepare and manage production schedules while identifying potential bottlenecks, resource conflicts, equipment concerns, and operating disruptions. Monitor adherence to operating procedures, safety expectations, and quality standards, taking prompt action when conditions or results do not meet expectations. Maintain accurate production records and reports covering processes, tooling concerns, performance, inventory, safety, productivity, and quality. Review operating data, investigate production issues, identify practical alternatives, and recommend actions that improve performance. Prepare, maintain, and update documentation related to operating procedures and safety and quality standards. Train and support new employees while helping existing team members strengthen job knowledge and production capabilities. Coach employees through clear goals, regular feedback, development opportunities, and appropriate recognition. Address scheduling and workplace conflicts constructively while promoting open communication, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills

Manufacturing leadership: Ability to organize and direct daily production-line activities, establish priorities, coordinate employees, and maintain focus on operational results. Problem solving: Working knowledge of fact-finding and diagnostic techniques used to identify production or process problems, evaluate alternatives, and support sound resolution decisions. Performance management: Ability to establish clear performance expectations, observe work objectively, provide behavior-focused feedback, identify development opportunities, and recognize employee contributions.
