Job Summary
Lead and optimize machining operations across the assigned plant area to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality production in accordance with manufacturing requirements. This role provides overall direction for the value stream(s), with accountability for PQVC performance, CNC process stability, machine utilization, throughput, tooling performance, cycle-time reduction, defect prevention, and continuous improvement. Reporting directly to this position are Section Managers and various levels of Operations support personnel.
What You Will Do
Lead machining operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and production targets. Optimize CNC capacity, labor, tooling, materials, workflow, cycle time, and equipment utilization. Monitor PQVC results, including throughput, downtime, scrap, rework, tool life, first-pass yield, and on-time delivery. Ensure compliance with drawings, GD&T, control plans, standard work, inspections, and product specifications. Partner across functions to resolve defects, variation, downtime, tool failures, and other production constraints. Drive Lean, Six Sigma, SMED, 5S, preventive maintenance, and process improvements to increase capacity and reliability while reducing waste and cost. Develop supervisors, machinists, operators, and support teams through training, coaching, clear goals, and accountability. Degree Requirement: Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field. Expert in Machining processes Intermediate - Advanced English. Location: Santa Catarina, Nuevo Leon. This position is five-day a week in-office model.
