Lead and drive mid/long term strategies, projects to ensure SC/MCT becomes a competitive advantage, pursuing commercial intensity and in line with industry trends/benchmarking Lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure optimizations, automations efficient delivery process and support sustainable growth and significant scaling of business. Engage cross-regionally and cross-functionally with stakeholders to identify improve opportunities, problem root causes and develop solutions to prevent reoccurrence Create value through managing logistics relationships, development of 3P strategy, translating third party services/products/capabilities and relevant industry knowledge into operational excellence and improvement opportunities Support projects for improvement of service level and customer experience, On-Time Delivery, communicating potential improvement initiatives to operations teams Responsible and lead scope development for growth related to Containerized shipments Apply Advanced analytics techniques to extract, synthesize and analyze data to support decision making and improve opportunities Drive implementation of digital solutions internally & externally. Support Polaris for MCT related processes. Basic Qualifications
BS or MSc degree in Business/Economics/Supply Chain/Engineering or similar field 6-10 years (Junior Advisor) or +10 years (Senior) Advisor of experience in Supply Chain field preferably in container shipping industry and/or other supply chain or procurement fields Analytical thinking, competent in data management and able to connect with different stakeholders to analyze and drive improvement Familiar with containerized shipping operations including but not limited to: terminal handling, container transportation, intermodal, carrier management,
