Job Description : Project Engineer Huntsman is seeking a Project Engineer supporting the ADMAT Division located in Rock Hill, South Carolina . This position will report to the Engineering Technical Manager . Job Scope The Project Engineer is responsible for planning, directing, organizing, and executing plant projects to ensure objectives are achieved within established timelines and budgets. This role provides engineering leadership and project accountability while supporting capital projects, equipment installations, process improvements, construction activities, and operational readiness. The position works closely with operations, process development, process engineering, production teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure safe and successful project execution. In summary, as the Project Engineer, you will: Demonstrate a strong commitment to environmental, health, and safety excellence and support Huntsman's Zero Harm culture. Lead and manage assigned capital and improvement projects from conception through completion. Determine project staffing requirements and coordinate activities with contractors and vendors. Prepare and submit capital requests, project scopes, cost estimates, and required change management documentation. Develop equipment specifications and data sheets for process equipment, instrumentation, controls, and electrical systems. Coordinate project execution to ensure compliance with technical, safety, quality, and operational requirements. Support construction activities, field work, contractor coordination, and safety reviews. Collaborate with process development, engineering, and production teams to define project scope and requirements. Prepare project reports, KPIs, funding requests, and progress updates for management. Ensure proper project turnover by providing complete documentation, operating instructions, maintenance information, spare parts lists, and equipment manuals.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline. 5+ years of experience in the chemical manufacturing, oil and gas, pharmaceutical, or chemical processing industry. 5+ years of experience managing or supporting engineering projects in an industrial manufacturing environment. Skills and knowledge Strong commitment to safety and environmental stewardship. Effective project management and organizational skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing capital projects within a chemical manufacturing environment. Experience preparing equipment specifications and technical documentation. Knowledge of pumps, compressors, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, instrumentation, controls, and electrical systems. Experience working with Management of Change (MOC) processes. Experience supporting construction management and field execution activities. Familiarity with RCRA-regulated materials and waste management requirements. Working Environment Primarily based at a manufacturing facility with regular exposure to industrial plant environments. Frequent interaction with operating units, maintenance personnel, contractors, and project stakeholders. Periodic field work, plant walkthroughs, construction site visits, and safety inspections required. May require involvement with materials
