The Role
As a Cybersecurity Infrastructure Specialist, you will help maintain , secure, and optimize the infrastructure that supports cybersecurity operations. Working across networks, servers, operating systems, and security platforms, you will ensure that critical systems remain secure, available, and resilient. You will collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and operations teams to implement security architectures, support network management activities, and strengthen defenses against evolving cyber threats.
What You Will Do
Monitor, manage, and support secure network and infrastructure environments. Implement, configure, and maintain cybersecurity technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), endpoint security solutions, and SIEM platforms. Assist with network management activities including routing, switching, VPN connectivity, load balancing, and network availability monitoring. Troubleshoot network, infrastructure, and security configuration issues to maintain operational stability and performance. Support the design and implementation of security architectures, network segmentation, and Zero Trust frameworks. Monitor network performance, identify risks, and recommend improvements to security and infrastructure operations. Assist with security compliance efforts by implementing controls aligned to organizational requirements and industry standards. Gather diagnostic information, perform root-cause analysis, and escalate complex technical issues when appropriate . Document infrastructure configurations, troubleshooting procedures, security controls, and operational best practices. Collaborate with cybersecurity, architecture, engineering, and operations teams to deliver secure and resilient infrastructure solutions. Required Skills
Working knowledge of network infrastructure, including routing, switching, VPNs, and network performance management. Foundational experience with security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security platforms, and SIEM solutions. Understanding of operating systems such as Windows and Linux and their security mechanisms. Knowledge of network addressing, protocols, traffic flow, and secure connectivity concepts. Ability to monitor and troubleshoot network, infrastructure, and security-related issues. Familiarity with security standards, compliance requirements, and industry frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or similar standards.
