Overview
In this Account Technology Strategist role within the Enterprise Commercial Manufacturing and Energy Team Finland, you work side by side with technology and business leaders at Finland’s largest manufacturing and energy companies to shape their digital transformation journeys. You help customers understand how to modernize operations and innovate across the value chain using artificial intelligence, data, security, and cloud technologies, always grounded in real industry needs and measurable business outcomes. You act as a strategic technology advisor who connects business strategy with the right Microsoft platforms and solutions. Drawing from deep industry and technical insight, you lead the formulation of mid- to long-term technology roadmaps, guide customers on responsible adoption of artificial intelligence at scale, and orchestrate experts across Microsoft and partners to bring the full value of our portfolio to life. By collaborating closely with senior stakeholders on high‑impact initiatives, you help define the next generation of industrial innovation in Finland and invite others to join this work. Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities Lead creation of mid- and long-term technology and business roadmaps for large, strategic accounts that align customer priorities with Microsoft cloud, data, artificial intelligence, and security solutions, driving adoption and measurable business outcomes. Act as a trusted strategic technology advisor for senior business and technology leaders, providing account thought leadership, sharing industry insights, and helping customers evaluate alternatives and adapt their strategies and business models. Orchestrate extended Microsoft and partner teams across technologies and functions to execute account plans, generate new demand, and progress opportunities through the lifecycle from envisioning to value realization. Drive digital transformation by identifying and resolving technology blockers, coordinating global and local resources, and ensuring customers have the skills and enablement needed to adopt Microsoft platforms at scale. Represent the voice of the customer and industry within Microsoft by sharing feedback and opportunities with internal product and engineering teams and helping shape future solutions and best practices.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field AND technical consulting, technical consultative selling, business consulting, practice building, or related technical/sales experience OR equivalent experience. Fluency or business level Finnish and English language skills Preferred Qualifications: experience with Microsoft Azure or other public clouds experience in relevant customer industry. experience in digital transformation, or using technology to drive customer business outcomes. experience engaging with C-level stakeholders Account Technology IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Finland is € 79,200.00 - € 143,200.00 per year.
