The Talent Development and Learning Team for EY Canada is seeking a personable and proactive individual to support our National CPA team and take part in key learning, compliance and operational initiatives. Position description: This role requires strong project management skills to effectively balance multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will play a key role in contributing to ongoing compliance and operational initiatives within the National CPA team. The National CPA team is seeking a CPA Student Program Coordinator to assist CPA students in completing their practical experience and educational requirements. In this position, you will engage with students, support transaction processing, manage data entry and records, and coordinate various practical experience and educational processes. This role is essential in helping students navigate their path to CPA membership. Your key responsibilities Learning Administration (National CPA) • Support cyclical compliance activities by reviewing submissions against established criteria, identifying exceptions, and coordinating follow-up communications with participants and stakeholders to ensure timely completion of practical experience requirements. • Prepare, reconcile, and validate data from multiple sources using Excel and other reporting tools, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records used for operational activities and reporting. • Support the CPA team in reviewing the student registration, module registration, and tuition documentation (including invoices) against student rosters • Assist with the administration of annual compliance and membership-related processes, including tracking participant status, monitoring deadlines, and supporting communications to candidates. • Maintain accurate participant records and support documentation in accordance with established procedures and data governance requirements. • Respond to routine inquiries through email and other communication channels from CPA students, applying process documentation and escalating complex issues as appropriate. • Support process improvement initiatives, data clean-up activities, testing, and other special projects as required. Skills and attributes for success • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify data inconsistencies, work through issues independently and with the team • Advanced Excel skills, including experience with VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data reconciliation, filtering, and reporting (Power Query is an asset) • Proficient in Outlook • Proficient in MS Teams, SharePoint and Office 360 • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy when working with large volumes of information. • Strong written communication skills • Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain trusted
