About this role
Company Overview Docusign brings agreements to life. Over 1.5 million customers and more than a billion people in over 180 countries use Docusign solutions to accelerate the process of doing business and simplify people’s lives. With intelligent agreement management, Docusign unleashes business-critical data that is trapped inside of documents. Until now, these were disconnected from business systems of record, costing businesses time, money, and opportunity. Using Docusign’s Intelligent Agreement Management platform, companies can create, commit, and manage agreements with solutions created by the #1 company in e-signature and contract lifecycle management (CLM).
What you'll do
Growth at Docusign depends on trustworthy data every Al model we build, every experiment we run, and every fast decision we make is only as good as the instrumentation underneath it. This creates a clear opportunity to establish end-to-end ownership for our underlying data architecture and elevate coverage across key surfaces (website, in-product, marketing channels, pipeline, financial) that our Growth and product-led business rely on for insight. This role is both a hands-on product manager and a leader. You will own the end-to-end quality of our data lifecycle - from source instrumentation through the data foundations analysts query - and you will lead a small team, including both direct and indirect members, who help execute against that roadmap. You'll spend more of your time in the product management seat: defining requirements, prioritizing the highest-leverage work, and driving cross-functional alignment. The remainder is architectural: reviewing how data flows across our systems, spotting structural problems, and building the conviction and buy-in needed to fix them. You'll stay close to the data yourself - reviewing it, questioning it, documenting how it flows and why even as you rely on engineering partners for implementation. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Director, Growth Data Science.
Responsibility
Own the roadmap for instrumentation and data-foundations work, prioritizing the highest-impact projects against a backlog Partner with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders across the growth organization to understand what data is used for and translate that into clear, sequenced requirements Lead and develop a small team a mix of direct reports and cross-functional/indirect team members setting priorities and unblocking day-to-day execution Review the end-to-end data flow architecture across the organization's growth-related data sources, identify structural problems, and drive alignment on solutions Own problem definition, prioritization, and the cross-functional buy-in needed to move architectural fixes forward the work itself is executed by engineering partners Set and enforce standards for how the organization instruments across all key data sources Extend this governance beyond our current primary focus area into other data domains the team depends on that lack active stewardship, partnering with other teams where needed to represent our requirements Partner with Al builders across the team to identify use cases and shape data foundations to be Al-ready Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work.
