Skills and Competencies Demonstrates the highest ethical standards with a professional, proactive, flexible, diligent, and dependable approach Eager to learn, adaptable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment Highly organized and efficient, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with a team-oriented mindset Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Education Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Accounting or other Finance related disciplines Experience in finance related sector will be an advantage Graduation date of December 2027 – June 2029 Ability to work during program dates: June 7 – August 13, 2027 Available to work in a hybrid model which includes 2 days per week in the office to collaborate with the Compliance team members Responsibilities This role will be working closely with the New York Compliance Surveillance team, and responsible for providing support for execution of Compliance Surveillance reviews Perform testing of ratings processes across global jurisdictions for required public disclosure requirements Assist in the preparation of test plans and assist in the execution of testing in accordance to Compliance Surveillance program objectives Work with the Compliance Surveillance team members to assist in enhancing the Surveillance Program and improve existing surveillance activities Perform tasks / ad-hoc projects assigned by Compliance Surveillance team members About the Program Moody's 10-week summer internship program is a premier opportunity for students to immerse themselves in a hands-on learning experience, guided by Moody's commitment to integrity, excellence, and insight. The program takes place each summer from June – August and positions are available for undergraduate and select graduate students. Internships are full-time, offering a comprehensive view of Moody’s business and culture, and a chance to build professional and technical skills. Programmatic elements include networking, mentorship, leadership speaker series and volunteering events. Interns complete project work determined by their team that have real impact, fostering a sense of accomplishment and professional growth.
