**Logistics**
This is an entry\-level role focused on learning the basics of material handling, inventory movements, safety requirements, and documentation\. Work is structured and supervised, with an emphasis on accuracy, safe equipment operation, and familiarization with inventory systems\. Employees learn how material flows through the warehouse to support production and customer needs\.
What You'll Be Doing
+ Perform basic material handling including picking, packing, staging, and labeling parts and components\.
+ Use basic warehouse tools such as pallet jacks, carts, scanners, or handheld devices\.
+ Follow detailed work instructions for order fulfillment and part identification\.
+ Conduct simple counts, verify part numbers, and check for obvious damage\.
+ Assist with basic receiving tasks such as unpacking, sorting, and staging materials\.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety and housekeeping practices\.
+ Record simple transactions in SAP or other warehouse systems with progressive growth in proficiency and understanding\.
+ Follow logistics processes, standard operating procedures, and safety requirements consistently\.
+ Other duties as assigned\.
Qualifications
**Skills You Bring to This Role**
+ High school diploma or GED required\.
+ Experience in logistics, warehousing, material handling, and/or other related field is preferred\.
+ Basic comfort with handheld scanners or willingness to learn SAP/warehouse systems\.
+ Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately\.
+ Strong attention to detail, reliability, and safe work habits\.
Physical Requirements
+ Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a warehouse/production environment\.
+ Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and containers up to approximately 35–50 lbs \(heavier items with mechanical assistance\)\.
+ Ability to bend, reach, and stoop to access lower and upper storage locations\.
+ Ability to operate pallet jacks and other non‑powered material‑handling equipment \(training provided\)\.
+ Use of PPE such as safety shoes, safety glasses, and gloves, as required\.
