Eaton’s IS AER ITD division is currently seeking a Stockroom Clerk 1st Shift at our Camarillo, CA facility! This is a 1st shift role, aligned to a 6am - 2:30pm schedule Monday - Friday. The hourly rate for this position is $18 - $22.00 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What you’ll do: The Stockroom clerk will work support operations on first shift under the Supply Chain Supervisor. This role is responsible to ensure that inventory arrives on time, is undamaged and allocated to the proper areas. Additionally, they will recover and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, noting discrepancies and damages, and report findings to appropriate personnel. In this function you will: • Count, store and issue parts, materials, and supplies. Verifying quantities, documentation and utilizing hand counting and electronic scale methods. • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy • Check materials and stock for the purpose of keeping relevant records in SAP. • Lift and arranges stock and inventory. • Verify documentation against physical stock and inventory counts. Provide information, both written and verbal, concerning specific order status and workloads in assembly area. • Will assist with shipping and receiving department as needed. • Receive into stockroom items from receiving inspection. • Log items received, by part number into computer system. • Accept materials from receiving inspection and checks against paperwork validating quantity, part number and description and/or arranges for storing of received material in a neat and orderly arrangement onto shelves, racks, or specified floor locations. • Maintain computerized inventory records and documents all discrepancies and helps with complex part research. • Determine appropriate (locked, floor) location and stock in a means that limits damage and deterioration. • Provide support to operations as assigned by Supervisor and ensure maintenance of a clean and safe stockroom. Responsible for employee compliance to safety requirements. Qualifications: Required Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution • Minimum one (1) years’ experience in stockroom/ materials experience. • This position requires access to export-controlled information. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations applicable to that information, applicant must be a U.S. person, defined as a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. 1157, or (iv) asylee under 8 U.S.C. 1158. • Must reside within 50 miles of Camarillo, CA to be considered. Active Duty military are exempt from this requirement Preferred: • Two (2)+ years' experience in stockroom or materials experience Position Criteria: • Counts and moves parts, making put-aways and issues both physically and on the computer terminal. • Ability to carry work materials up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis. • Ability to lift work materials up to 40 lbs 60 inches about the floor on a regular basis. • Ability to load and unload materials using bending, reaching, and twisting body movements. • Ability to read, write and understand set up illustrations and numerical counting. • Basic understanding of computer/ data entry and barcode scanning. • Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned. #LI-CD1 We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
