Digital Engineering - .NetCore Manager As part of our GDS Consulting team, you will be part of GDS Technology Consulting team delivering to clients across regions. The client base spans across various sectors and includes collaboration with other teams within Consulting services. The opportunity We’re looking for resources with expertise in Microsoft Technologies to join the group of our Microsoft Technology team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm whilst being instrumental in the growth of our service offering. Your key responsibilities
Lead the design and architecture of robust, scalable, and high-performance applications using .NET Core/ASP.NET Core Provide technical guidance and hands-on support to development teams. Review system architecture and ensure alignment with business goals and technical standards. Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, software development processes. Experience with working with Agile methodology and scrums, and stand ups Strong written & oral communication skills Manage, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers. Assign tasks, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of projects. Oversee end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC). Work closely with product owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality. Manage risks, dependencies, and technical challenges effectively. Communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Translate business requirements into technical solutions. Provide regular updates on project status and technical risks.
Skills and attributes
Experience in Microsoft Technologies
Good experience in C#, .NET Core, Angular, SQL Server Good experience in database designing, writing complex SQL queries and performance tuning Project Management skills Solution Architect experience –doing technical designs, contributing to RFPs, etc.
ASP.NET Core/ Web API Visual Studio, TFS, VSTS and GIT Modular programming in Angular, Type Script, and other front-end unit testing tools CI/CD, DevOps, setting up and managing Build and release pipelines Good to have Azure or any cloud certifications
