Summary:   This position is a discretionary position.  The Machine Maintenance Lead is responsible for performing all aspects of machine maintenance related work.

Follow all documented procedures.   Maintain knowledge of all pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC systems.   Maintain knowledge of all RTE side equipment processes.   Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment for RTE side operations throughout the plant.   Perform and complete preventative maintenance work.   Perform and complete minor prefabrication work.   Run machine shop equipment.   Provide guidance and training to all machine maintenance mechanics, including cross-training.   Assist the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Supervisors with establishing crewing schedules.   Assist the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Supervisors with maintaining reliability program documentation   Complete various audits to include, but are not limited to, safety, food safety, and 6S.   Research existing maintenance related literature and gain input from outside contacts/vendors to solve technical related problems.   Keep all work areas clean and properly maintained.   Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements.    Perform all positions of job rotation as needed.   Perform any other work assigned by management.

Ability and willingness to perform basic math functions (e.g., addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).   Ability and willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.   Ability and willingness to work on demand in emergency situations.   Ability and willingness to complete all paperwork CMMS/SAP functions.     Physical Requirements : The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.   Ability and willingness to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level up to 40 pounds frequently.   Ability and willingness to lift with arms up to floor to waist and waist to shoulder up to 40 pounds.   Ability and willingness to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions.   Ability and willingness to use both hands for rapid mental muscular coordination, simultaneously.   Ability and willingness to reach high and low levels, frequently.    Ability and willingness to constantly stand/stoop/walk/bend up to 10 hours.   Ability and willingness to climb stairs.   Ability and willingness to work in wet conditions and cold temperatures at 10   degrees.

Minimum of 6 months of mechanic work experience documented in the work history section of the application or be a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program (can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 6 months).     LOCATION NOT ACCEPTING REHIRES   Relocation Assistance Eligible: No Work Shift: 2ND SHIFT (United States of America) Certain roles at Tyson require background checks.
