First-Level supervisor responsible for the supervision, coordination and deployment of labor, equipment and resources for all gas transmission, compression, storage and production activities in a geographic area. Coordinates activities with operating and support departments to ensure safe, reliable service and performance, while maintaining compliance with the State Gas Safety Code. Key Accountabilities
Administers, interprets and applies Code of Federal Regulation including OSHA and DOT regulations, MIOSHA Regulations, State Gas Safety Standards and Safety Rules, DEQ/Environmental Rules. Administers, interprets and applies Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs) and related Company standards, policies and practices. Administers, interprets and applies specifications and requirements for the design, installation and operation of gas production, transmission and storage operation facilities and equipment. Develops a trained, productive, diverse team-focused workforce; prioritizes, plans, schedules, monitors, and controls work utilizing the Management Operating System. Supervises and coordinates all operating activities in the area of responsibility and coordinates activities with other gas handling operating areas. Supervises resources, budgets $2 million O&M and $2 million Construction to meet Company goals and expectations for the production, transmission and storage system, budget preparation, monitoring, and ongoing budget review and forecasting to ensure targets are achieved. Identifies and promotes discipline-related continuous improvement initiatives. Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
This is a multitrack base requirement job, education and experience requirements can be satisfied through one of the following options:
High school diploma or GED, and the knowledge and capabilities typically acquired through 5+ years of natural gas production, transmission, compression, storage, or related construction experience, Associate degree or certificate (i.e the completion of a core group of program-related courses designated by the institution) in engineering technology or related technical discipline, and the knowledge and capabilities typically acquired through 3+ years of natural gas production, transmission, compression, storage or related construction experience Bachelor's degree in an engineering or engineering technology discipline, and the knowledge and capabilities typically acquired through 1 or more years of natural gas production, transmission, compression, storage or related construction experience.
