To achieve this, we are seeking a  Junior React Front-end Developer  to join our Technology Transformation Consulting practice. Our team is part of EY’s Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe & Central Asia (CESA) cluster, delivering market leading services to organizations across industries in Cyprus and internationally.

Your Key Responsibilities

Develop user ‑ facing features using React.js under guidance from senior developers.

Translate UI/UX wireframes into clean, maintainable code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Integrate RESTful APIs and assist with handling JSON/XML data.

Participate in debugging, testing, and performance optimization activities.

Follow established ways of working (Git, code reviews, Agile ceremonies).

Write reusable components and contribute to UI improvements.

Maintain documentation for components, features, and updates.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.

1–3 years of experience with React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.

Familiarity with consuming RESTful APIs and handling web data formats.

Basic understanding of Git and version control workflows.

Understanding of responsive design and cross ‑ browser compatibility .

Must be based in Cyprus, and follow a hybrid work model (3 days per week onsite).

Skills and attributes for success

Strong willingness to learn modern front ‑ end practices and tooling.

Good communication and problem ‑ solving abilities.

Ability to collaborate with multi ‑ disciplinary teams.

Ability to use AI Agents (e.g. GitHub Copilot) to augment development with critical oversight and verification.

Familiarity with vibe ‑ based coding workflows (AI-assisted rapid prototyping, inline suggestions, code refactoring prompts) while maintaining responsibility for correctness, security, and performance.

Ideally you should also have

Familiarity with UI libraries such as Material UI.

Basic testing experience (Jest, React Testing Library).

Awareness of accessibility and performance best practices.
