About the Job
You will be part of the Global Ingredients Procurement Team, fully involved and have responsibilities within our Commodities team in charge of sourcing Sugar & Sweeteners, Cocoa & Chocolate, Coffee, Maltodextrin & Glucose. Your mission will be to support Sourcing Managers with your contribution to global projects on both Category Procurement and Sustainable Sourcing. Food systems and global value chains need to be transformed to be fit for the future. Our team is leading on the implementation of the Danone Impact Journey strategy across Ingredients. Amongst numerous ambitious commitments, your role will involve implementing, across our supply chain, Deforestation Conversion Free Sourcing, GHG reduction, and sourcing transition to Regenerative Agriculture. Your mission will extend beyond traditional procurement. You’ll play a vital role in advancing Danone’s ambitious Impact Journey strategy. Your role will involve key tasks that include sourcing project management, analyzing data, measuring and reporting progress, tendering, contributing to strategic and tactical decisions, leading or coordinating stakeholders, digitalizing portfolios, market and price benchmarking. In details, your mission will be to: Collect and analyze data from various sources (e.g. portfolios, market and price benchmarking), identify opportunities and risk, amongst other for sourcing development, efficiency, supply continuity, productivity. Present the conclusions and recommendations in a structured and effective way to stakeholders. Manage category and sustainable sourcing project from design to execution, lead and engage internal and external stakeholders, drive project planning and reporting. Co-lead and support global RFI/RFP/RFQ events, suppliers screening, e-sourcing. Support decision making by leading portfolio and sustainable sourcing digitalization with Power BI dashboards. Lead operational procurement activities such as contract lifecycle management, price-list, orders, vendors. You have an analytical mindset as well as a creative side to synthesize and communicate data with excellent Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI skills. In addition, you are highly motivated and proactive, eager to engage and lead with stakeholders through solid communication skills and looking to learn and thrive in a dynamic environment. On top of that? You’re a self-starter, curious, and you possess the ability to challenge situations, act with resilience and manage numerous workstreams of projects and initiatives, who’s always looking for opportunities to learn and develop. There are also some compulsory requirements: Enrolled as a Bachelor’s/Master’s student in Management, Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, Economics, Sustainability, Engineering, Agronomy, Environmental Science or another related field during the whole
