What you’ll need to succeed as a Lead Analyst, Social Media at XPO Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience 4+ years of progressive social media experience, including recent ownership of corporate social channels Proven success growing social channels with measurable results across engagement, audience growth or other KPIs Hands-on experience concepting, capturing and editing social-first content, including short-form video, photography and graphics Experience owning social end-to-end: strategy, content planning, creation, publishing, community management and analytics Comfort working as a hands-on individual contributor, owning both strategy and execution Strong writing, editorial judgment and ability to use performance data to optimize content Experience partnering with executives and cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut or Canva and social platforms such as Sprout or Hootsuite Willingness to travel to XPO locations and events to identify stories and capture content
Preferred qualifications
Experience in B2B, transportation, logistics, manufacturing, industrial, automotive or another operational industry Experience making complex or technical topics engaging on social Experience with paid social, social listening or influencer campaigns Portfolio or examples of social-first content personally created or produced

What you’ll do on a typical day: Drive Social Media Strategy
Develop and execute XPO’s social media strategy across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X and emerging platforms Build channel-specific strategies aligned with business priorities, audience behaviors and platform best practices Create social media roadmaps, editorial calendars and campaign plans Identify opportunities to elevate XPO’s brand, frontline culture, operational expertise and executive thought leadership Monitor social trends and emerging formats to continuously evolve strategy Own social strategy and execution, balancing long-term planning with day-to-day content creation
Create Engaging Content
Personally concept, capture and edit social-first video, photography and graphics Find and capture stories from XPO service centers, drivers, frontline employees and operational leaders Turn complex transportation and logistics topics into engaging social content Partner across the business to bring customer, employee, recruiting, event and executive stories to life
Manage Channels & Community Engagement
Oversee publishing, scheduling and community management across XPO’s social channels Engage with audiences in a timely, professional and brand-appropriate manner Ensure content aligns with brand standards, legal guidelines and company messaging Manage content planning, approval and production processes Adapt content and messaging to each platform while maintaining a consistent brand voice
Drive Performance & Insights
Track social performance across channels, campaigns and content formats Turn analytics into recommendations that improve engagement, reach and business impact Report on KPIs, trends, audience growth and content performance Use performance data to continuously optimize content and channel strategy
