Hiring Event Position Title: Laminator Assistant Pay Rate : $29.34 Sign-on Bonus : $500 after 30 days, $500 after 6 months, $500 after 1 year Additional lump sum after 2 years Category/Shift : Hourly Full-Time 2nd shift 3pm -11pm; 3rd shift 11pm-7am (Monday- Friday) Physical Location : International Paper 2135 Stout Field d Indianapolis, IN 46241 Phone 317-390-3330 The Job You Will Perform: Laminator assistants perform a variety of tasks to support operations. Laminator assistants report to laminator supervisors. Laminator assistant duties/responsibilities include: following all plant safety, quality, product safety, and other rules and procedures. helping operators prepare rolls for splices and order changes. performing other crew member duties during break periods, as needed. working with other associates to change flute rolls when roll changes are needed. assisting other crew members with the daily cleaning of the machine. preparing top sheets for manufacturing process daily emptying all the waste containers in the laminator department, including those in the supervisors’ office. training on and learning all laminator crew positions to be able to perform those jobs during vacation, call-in, and/or other absence situations. helping clean any and all machine components unloading rollstock from rail cars and trucks as needed. keeping the truck area empty of rollstock. participating in and performing rollstock inventories. unloading, receiving, and storing raw materials in the proper areas. performing assigned inspections and tests and completing accurate records; and performing other duties as assigned by supervision
