About You and This Role At Dow, we are enabling the digital infrastructure of the future through innovative materials and technologies that support increasingly demanding Data Center applications. As artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and digitalization continue to accelerate, the need for reliable, energy-efficient, and sustainable Data Center solutions has never been greater. We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Dow Industrial Solutions (DIS) business in Antwerp, Belgium or Milan, Italy . In this highly visible role, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and executing growth opportunities within the rapidly expanding Data Center market across Europe. As a strategic business leader, you will work closely with customers, industry partners, and commercial teams to drive adoption of Dow's cooling solutions in Data Centers. You will assess market trends, identify unmet customer needs, gather competitive intelligence, develop targeted value propositions, and build strategic partnerships that strengthen Dow's position in this key growth segment. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded professional who thrives at the intersection of market strategy, customer engagement, innovation, and business development. You will have direct exposure to senior leadership while helping shape Dow's long-term growth within one of the fastest-growing global industries. The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen, market development experience, and technical curiosity. Experience in Data Centers, thermal management, electronics, power infrastructure, cooling systems, industrial solutions, or adjacent technology markets would be highly advantageous.
Responsibilities
Execute the business growth strategy for Dow's Data Center market segment within DIS. Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and value chain collaborations. Build strong relationships with Data Center owners, engineering firms, co-locators, service companies, OEMs, EPCs, and other key industry stakeholders. Monitor market trends, competitive activities, technology developments, and regulatory changes to identify growth opportunities. Collaborate with marketing, technology, product management, and commercial teams to develop differentiated regional customer value propositions. Lead customer engagement activities and support the commercialization of new products, technologies, and solutions. Represent Dow at industry conferences, trade associations, and customer events to strengthen market presence and influence.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline. Significant experience in business development, market development, marketing, commercial, or strategic growth roles. Experience within Data Centers, electronics, thermal management, power infrastructure, industrial technologies, or related markets. Demonstrated ability to develop strategic partnerships and translate customer needs into business opportunities. Knowledge of Data Center cooling technologies, thermal management solutions, or infrastructure materials.
