The Senior Director, Human Resources, Core Portfolio, Global Supply Chain (GSC), and Quality serves as the strategic people and organization advisor to business leaders across Leica Biosystems' (LBS) global operations. The role is responsible for aligning workforce strategy, organizational capability, leader effectiveness, and transformation initiatives with business objectives. This position partners with leaders to improve organizational performance through workforce planning, organizational design, talent strategy, leadership development, change leadership, and business transformation. The role influences critical business decisions affecting organizational structure, capability, productivity, growth, and long-term competitiveness across global functions and operating sites. This position reports to VP Human Resources and is part of the LBS HR Leadership Team and will be onsite in Deer Park, IL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Translate business strategy into workforce, leadership, and organizational plans that drive growth, improve performance, and create sustainable competitive advantage. Influence senior leadership decisions by providing strategic counsel on talent, organizational effectiveness, and business transformation. Enable business performance through effective leadership, strong organizational health, and a culture aligned to strategic priorities. Shape organizational structures and workforce strategies that maximize productivity, agility, and return on talent investment. Build future-ready organizational capability by proactively identifying and addressing critical talent, leadership, and skills risks. Deliver practical, scalable solutions that balance enterprise objectives with evolving business and market demands. Guide complex people-related decisions with a focus on business impact, risk management, and long-term organizational success. Orchestrate large-scale change and transformation efforts that accelerate adoption, protect business continuity, and realize intended business outcomes. The essential requirements of the job include: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience supporting complex global organizations.
