Company: Marsh Corporate Description: We are seeking a talented individual to join our Business and Client Services (BCS) team at Marsh. This role will be based in New York City. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. As an Executive Assistant on the team, you will support the Chief Information and Operations Officer, and also provide administrative support to the Head of Transformation for BCS. What can you expect: Acting as the “face” and gatekeeper of the executive office, you will work directly with the CIOO and his leadership team, managing a broad variety of administrative tasks. Competent, professional, discreet, and committed, you will collaborate with senior executives and their executive assistants across the organization, providing world-class support to one of Marsh’s most senior leaders. We will count on you to: Manage extremely active calendars Arrange complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas Ensure timely and accurate completion of expense reports Research, prioritize, and follow up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the CIOO and the Head of Transformation, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature Plan, coordinate, and ensure these executives schedule are followed and respected Serve as the first point of interaction with the Office of the CIOO, setting a professional and welcoming tone Collaborate with internal teams to ensure meeting materials for internal, board, client meetings, events, and speaking engagements are prepared and provided when needed Responsible for organizing large team meetings and events Provide administrative and systems support, including Workday, procurement, and related internal systems Engage with external vendors and stakeholders What you need to have: Highly inquisitive nature with an interest in challenging the status-quo by trying new tools and ways of working Ability to multi-task with strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and sound problem-solving abilities Experience supporting C-suite and/or senior executives Ability to handle confidential and time-sensitive matters and materials with discretion Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment What makes you stand out: Ability to operate in ambiguity and make decisions with minimal direction Highly resourceful team player with the ability to also be extremely effective independently Forward-looking thinker who actively seeks opportunities to learn and propose solutions Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products and an interest in experimenting with new technology products Reliable, committed and hardworking Ability to collaborate across a complex organization and build strong relationships Knowledge of Marsh businesses and stakeholders Why join our team: We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work and supportive leaders.
