The Deer Valley Meter Shop has an immediate opening for a Utility Worker One. The work hours for this position are  Monday-Friday from 5:00AM - 1:30PM.   Primary Function : To handle meter inventory as it is brought back from the field by sorting, cleaning, organizing, and palletizing electric meters.    Minimum Qualifications :

Be at least  18 years of age Have a  High School Diploma  or  GED Pass  EEI CAST test Pass a  selection interview Must be capable of operating all types of equipment and vehicles (Forklift) Must be able to utilize computer systems to manage inventory and return material authorizations.  (MAXIMO, Excel, and Word) Must be able to work with minimal supervision Must live a reasonable distance ( one-hour ) from headquarters Must be physically capable of handling all job requirements which includes lifting and standing most of the day cleaning and palletizing meters Must be willing to work outside and in a warehouse environment Pass APS physical exam (drug test, etc.) This position requires working with aerial equipment, which has weight restrictions of 300lbs or less The established headquarters for this position is subject to relocation to the Hub West Service Center, a facility that will be located 38 miles west of downtown Phoenix, on a date to be determined by the Company.
