Job Family Definition: Students or recent graduates of college, university, or other accredited academic programs, pursuing diplomas or degrees (Associate, Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD) in any field. Assists in various tasks aligned with their field of study, including research, collaboration on team initiatives and projects, problem-solving, and creative thinking to gain hands-on experience and develop professional skills. Responsibilities
Business engagement: May contact customer on occasional basis. May interface with internal business partners (mainly Sales and Operations) and keep them up to date on relevant credit decisions related to order release and setup of accounts. May participate in relevant C&C forums such as pre-family meetings. Leader attributes and behaviours: Provide inputs to appropriate personnel for projects within the C&C organisation, when required. Risk management: Ensure due diligence is taken for the assigned customers in order to mitigate risk, including the analysis of Financial Statements. Provide inputs to appropriate personnel for inclusion of the customers in the Bad Debt Watch List or Uncollectable List.. Credit account management and analysis: Ensure the correct and timely setup of the accounts in HPE systems SAP S4 Setup and maintain the right credit limit in accordance with the business needs and level of associated risk. Store all documents backing up credit related decisions in SAP S4 Cash acceleration & revenue enablement: Proactively check the order block filters and take action on order release in a timely fashion; when needed, obtain the necessary level of approval. Communicate to stakeholders the blocking reasons and the next steps to facilitate the release. Liaise with Collection teams on an ongoing basis, ensuring Collections department is informed about credit related topics and vice versa. Offer support to the collection team for relevant collection topics. Ensure standard payment terms are followed, addressing any exception to appropriate personnel.
Education & Experience
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting. No prior experience required; previous internships or campus involvement is a plus. Knowledge & Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Basic understanding of credit and collection processes, financial concepts and risk mitigation tools. Attention to details. Basic understanding of HPE´s business units and the different products/services provided. Strong prioritization skills. Basic knowledge of economic and political environment. Fluent in English, other common languages as needed based on portfolio. Impact/Scope: University students actively enrolled in a university/college/institution pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a non-technical area of study, and who typically works during school breaks and then returns to their university.
