Senior Director, Global Power Origination & Market Development

Oklo is seeking a highly strategic, commercially minded, and globally oriented leader to advance the international deployment of Oklo’s Aurora powerhouses. The Senior Director, International Aurora Deployment & Market Development will combine the responsibilities of a business development lead and an international deployment project lead. This individual will identify and develop priority markets and prospective partners, own key external business relationships, and manage implementation of Oklo’s international deployment strategy across internal teams and outside advisors.

The role sits at the intersection of international energy markets, power origination, project development, government engagement, commercial structuring, nuclear regulatory and export considerations, and cross-functional program leadership. The Senior Director will serve as the central coordinator for international Aurora deployment opportunities, ensuring that commercial discussions remain aligned with Oklo’s strategy and with relevant technical, legal, regulatory, security, safeguards, and government affairs requirements.

This position is focused specifically on opportunities that support the deployment of Oklo’s Aurora reactors outside the United States. There will be significant international travel expected. We are only considering candidates based in the Netherlands or United Kingdom.

• International Deployment Leadership

• Manage implementation of Oklo’s international deployment strategy and translate strategic priorities into coordinated market, partner, and project-development activities

• Serve as the central point of coordination across business, strategy, government affairs, legal, regulatory, reactor, fuel, security, safeguards, finance, supply chain, and communications teams, as well as outside consultants

• Develop integrated workplans, decision points, priorities, and next steps for international deployment opportunities and drive follow-through across responsible teams

• Ensure that external engagement, commercial discussions, and partner commitments remain aligned with company strategy and relevant technical, legal, regulatory, and policy milestones

• Provide executive leadership with clear recommendations on market prioritization, partner strategy, deployment barriers, risks, and resource needs

• Business Development & Partner Origination

• Identify, evaluate, and develop international opportunities for deployment of Aurora powerhouses, including utility, industrial, data center, government, infrastructure, and other prospective customer or project-partner opportunities

• Develop and lead business relationships within Oklo’s overall international strategy and own the relationship with prospective deployment partners once established

• Lead partner discussions regarding power offtake, project development, supply chain, procurement, siting, localization, financing, commercial considerations, and general business strategy, supported by relevant internal subject-matter experts

• Work with legal and other internal teams to advance nondisclosure agreements, memorandums of understanding, cooperation agreements, development agreements, power purchase or energy supply frameworks, and other deployment-related arrangements

• Develop commercial structures that align Oklo’s build-own-operate model, or other approved international delivery models, with customer, government, and infrastructure partner objectives
