ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES : Monitor Canada Branch accounts, including maintaining balances and approving transfers and wires. Understand branch liquidity, including funding, repayments, and the impact to the branch cash position and RBC offset facility. Monitor and report the daily Prescribed Deposit ratio. Assist with regulatory reporting, including preparation of the OSFI Quarterly Information Package, trial balance preparation, and monitoring trends in PD and regulatory rating. Work with various groups across the bank to synthesize risk-rating commentary and trends, and maintain effective relationships with Regulatory Reporting to ensure OSFI requirements are consistently met. Create and maintain the Branch customer list. Prepare the Statistics Canada quarterly submission. Assist IT and Regulatory Reporting with the OSFI RAPID submission. Support transactions by coordinating loan and amendment closing processes, generating RAROC, synthesizing industry and macroeconomic/microeconomic research, and assisting with Canadian KYC. Assist with marketing efforts, including creating and updating client pitch books and internal presentations, and coordinating with product partners on client pitches. Interact with commercial lenders and customers on a daily basis to maintain strong customer relationships. Build and maintain effective relationships with Internal and External Audit and Compliance to ensure existing policies and procedures provide adequate controls to mitigate potential risks. Serve as the LOB Product Owner for approved projects related to the Canada Branch. Support First Line of Defense compliance responsibilities. Maintain the Annual Business Continuity Plan for the Canada Branch. Report pertinent information about the Canadian Commercial Loan portfolio to the PO and other bank senior management on an ongoing basis.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
