About the Role The Business Onboarding Analyst plays a key role in supporting the Firm's new business initiatives, ensuring that the Operations infrastructure is fully in place and ready to support the on-boarding of new business in a timely manner. This role acts as a critical link between internal departments, clients, and external parties, ensuring smooth technical and operational set-up for new funds, managed accounts, and products.
Responsibilities
• Initiate and ensure completion of technical and operational set up for new funds and managed accounts.
• Work with the PMs, trading desks, legal and clients to understand trading requirements.
• Engage with external trading counterparties parties to agree workflows, documentation and account requirements.
• Complete counterparty questionnaires and distribute launch updates as required.
• Ensure Fund Data Integrity of security and Fund Reference Data within internal systems.
• Work with other internal departments to answer onboarding queries as they arise.
• Assist the business in launching new products and services.
• Ensure due process is conducted on requests and is compliant with internal and external controls and audit requirements.
Core Competencies
• Proven experience in Operations within an investment management firm, investment bank, or hedge fund.
• Previous client-facing, middle office, or operations experience within financial services preferred.
• Experience onboarding new clients and working with external providers.
• A strong understanding of financial markets and best practices.
• Self-motivated and responsive to a constantly changing environment.
